Course Description
This course covers the same material as MAT130 Contemporary Math but with additional time for review topics and study skills. This course will focus on the mathematical skills and knowledge required for quantitative literacy. Topics will include understanding numerical relationships, financial mathematics, probability, and data analysis and statistics. The course will emphasize the development of critical thinking and quantitative reasoning skills necessary to understand major issues in society. Only 3 credit hours count toward a degree.
